CSG teaches up to 1500 gymnasts per week. Our gym is fun-filled and busy, all day, every day! We believe gymnastics is the best activity for improving physical attributes (strength, flexibility, power) and motor attributes (balance, agility, coordination). Our huge facility — a giant padded playground — makes learning and practice fun!
Junior Gymnastics classes are for ages 5 - 13 years. Classes generally consist of a large group warm up, followed by 10-15 minute rotations on the apparatus (floor, bars, beam, vault, foam pit, and tumble trampoline – 3 or 4 stations per week). Children are grouped by age and by ability. |

Skills Award Programme
Children in our Junior Gymnastics classes will automatically be enrolled into our Skills Awards programme. The programme is designed to promote progression within our Junior Gymnastics classes through assessment of skills, and moving through Stages 1-6. Once you have achieved Stage 5, you are eligible to be invited to our Regional Competitive Programme. Skills are assessed during around week 7 of each term. (NB: We do not do skills assessments in Term 4 as the gymnasts are preparing routines for the Christmas Competition). Once a Stage has been completed, you will receive a certificate and an award badge is available for purchase from the front desk. Click here to see a copy of the skills award card.
