Alert Level 2 update 21/09/21

This information relates to termly classes only. For monthly billed Competitive Squad training times please see further communications directly from your programme co-ordinators.

We have had the fantastic news that everyone has been waiting for. Level 2 restrictions have been amended slightly and we are now able to accommodate up to 100 visitors in the gym at one time. We are therefore pleased to inform you that all of our termly classes will resume as timetabled as of Wednesday September 22nd, with the following exception only:

Monday’s Regional Competitive Bronze group will train from 5pm – 7pm instead of 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
(Those affected by this small change will also be emailed separately)

If your class had been cancelled - it will now run again at its usual time
If you class had a time change - it will revert to its usual time

Please note that in order to deliver these classes within our 100 capacity, we are still unable to have spectators in the gym (except for parented pre-school classes). With a larger capacity certain exceptions can be made, especially at quieter times, but we would need to discuss individual requirements in advance.

All other Level 2 procedures will remain the same.

We want to thank you all so much for your patience during this time, it has been incredibly challenging for everyone and we are ecstatic to be able to be delivering gymnastics again to our full membership.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have.

 ALERT LEVEL 2 - February 28, 2021

Dear Members,

As you will all be aware, as of 6am on Sunday February 28, New Zealand has returned to COVID Alert Level 2. As a reminder, this means that we are limited to a maximum of 100 people in the gym, including coaches and staff.

We are pleased to confirm that all Preschool, Junior Gymnastics, Trampoline and mini ninja classes will continue with no changes to the timetable.

There will be some minor changes to Regional Competitive classes and some changes to our competitive squads. These will be communicated directly to those affected.

To ensure we are fully complying with all government guidelines, below are our Alert Level 2 procedures:

Pre-School Classes – You are limited to 1 adult on the floor per child. Siblings and non-participating children will not be permitted. Parents are required to sign in at the front desk or scan in using the Covid-19 app.

All other classes – All adults are asked not to enter the gym. Please drop off and collect your children from outside the entrance. We will consider exceptions to this, on a case by case basis, so please call our front office to discuss your needs. There will be staff members on hand to assist and ensure all children escorted to the correct place.
To ensure a smooth transition between classes and to avoid large gatherings of children, please do not drop off early, and ensure your children are collected promptly at the end of the class.

Be gym ready – On arrival, members will be directed straight to the gym floor, so there will be no opportunity to get changed. Please have children ready for gym at drop off.

Hand sanitiser – All visitors must use hand sanitiser on arrival to the gym. We have wall mounted dispensers in the foyer and in the gym itself.

Water Fountains – Both water fountains in the gym will be shut off with immediate effect. Please ensure your child has a full, named water bottle with them.

We will be following all government updates and will communicate accordingly. As always, our priority is ensuring the health and well being of our members, staff and wider community. We thank you all for your ongoing support and understanding during these uncertain times.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or queries. Use our facebook page, our website comments, our email admin@chchgymnastics.co.nz or phone 3886616.

ALERT LEVEL 1 - February 18
